Bark in the Park is an event where the animals are front and center at the Weyburn Beavers Baseball Game.
The Weyburn Humane Society was on hand:
They were reminding people that there are many animals up for adoption, and that animals do have some important needs. They wanted to put neutering and spaying your animal at the forefront, as well as making sure the vaccinations are up to date. They talked about microchipping and had registrations on hand for volunteers, as well as board memberships. They are open 7 days/week (except Statuatory Holidays), and invite the community to come out often. They have answers to animal bylaw questions, if you need them. There next big fundraising event will be 2nd Annual Fore Paws Golf Classic (registration info avail here)
There were other groups at the event as well:
This organization brought many dogs looking for adoptions, and, they also, just wanted to take in the day with all the other spectators (especially, the four-legged ones)

As you can see, Patches (from Pet Valu) was also in attendance, and had an excellent time hanging out...
