Earlier this week, your Summer Fun Crew took a trip to Mainprize Regional Park.  We toured around the park and found there are tons of things to do at this beautiful location.

Mainprize is about a 45 minute drive from Weyburn.  You could easily spend your summer here, whether you live in a cabin or rent a campsite.  There are tons of campsites available at the park and some beautiful cabins for sale as well.

You can also stay at the Harbour View Bed and Breakfast.  This accomodation includes 5 themed rooms, a game room, a meeting room, and a beautiful view of the lake.

Another option at Mainprize is renting one of the Bentwood Kabins.  There are nine cabins just above the harbour for you to choose from that all contain kitchen units, air, and satellite TV.  You will also have access to a laundromat, BBQ and fire pits.

The store is located right beside the Bentwood Kabins.  This is your source for gas, ice, confectionary, and all of your fishing needs.

Speaking of fishing, Mainprize also has excellent walleye, perch, and pike populations.  The beach is a great spot for fishing and it also has filleting locations and bathroom facillities.  Things you can do at the beach include swimming, beach volleyball, or lunch under the picnic shelters.  Every friday, you can check out fun kids activities at the beach as well.

Mainprize has a beautiful golf course.  Don't miss out on some of the golf tournaments they have coming up, such as the Mental Health Charity Classic on Saturday, July 28, or the Ladies Open Tournament on Wednesday, August 8.

As you can see, there are tons of things to do at Mainprize Regional Park this summer.  Check out our gallery to see some pictures of the park!
