For many seniors and adults with disabilities, it can be quite difficult to perform tasks that many of us consider to be easy.

We often take the simple things in life for granted, and forget how hard they can be for some people. And with the cold, snow and ice at this time of year, walking outside becomes only more difficult for these individuals.

Luckily the Weyburn Public Library has an Outreach Program in place that helps seniors and those with disabilities to be able to access books without leaving home!

"If they have a specific book request that they'd like to make, we make sure that we can get that for them or have it on order for them to read later," told Rheanelle Callfas, Adult Program Coordinator for the Weyburn Public Library.

The book deliveries take place every third Thursday of the month between the hours of one and four in the afternoon.

If you would like to have the Library deliver books to your home or retirement facility, contact Rheanelle Callfas at 306-848-3952.

"There are no requirements," added Callfas. "It's open to anyone in need."
