Plenty of progress was made over the past 7 days in terms of this years harvest.

 

Numbers from this past week's crop report show the southeast having 71 per cent of the crop in the bin with another 20 per cent laying in the swath.

Agrologist Terry Bedard says there was an increase all over the province.

Weyburn has completed 74 per cent of the harvest.

As a province, we were up 39 per cent from a week ago.

Bedard says in terms of damage in the Southeast, grasshoppers, sawflies and ergot continue to be a problem.
