What a fantastic weekend it has been so far!  There have been so many awesome events taking place all over the community to celebrate this year's Wheat Festival right here in Weyburn.  Although some events had to be modifed slightly to accomodate the weather, each and every event had a great turnout and saw lots of success!

Heritage Village continued their Heritage Village Days today.  Attendees loved witnessing the old time demonstrations, especially getting to ride around the village in the firetruck.  There were also lawn games, tours of the village, and live entertainment by local talented artists from in and around our community.

This year saw a slight twist to the 4th annual pARTy on the Hill.  This is usually an outdoor event, but instead of risking the weather, the event was moved inside the Cugnet Center!  It was a great venue for the event that showcased over 40 artists, artisans and craftspeople.  All who were a part of this art sale should be proud of their work.

The Summer Fun Crew's last stop of the day was at the Soo Line Historical Museum for their Family Fun Day.  This event typically also took place outside in front of the museum, but still just as successful inside the museum!  Children loved Dr. Finnystein's magic show, and they also enjoyed the other fun activities like artifact bingo and facepainting.  The free admission into the museum today was enjoyed by all ages, too.

Congratulations to all the events today!  We all had a great time celebrating this year's Wheat Festival and can't wait to see what next year's brings!
