Ah, snow... how we all greatly enjoy shoveling thee in the wee hours of the morning!

Sure... snow is beautiful, breathtaking, serene, and entrancing.

But it's also really COLD!!! Which is actually better than the summer! Hear me out... I say this only because you can always put on more clothes to keep warm in the winter. With that summer heat? Meh, you can only take off so many clothes in public. Just sayin'.

Now that the white stuff is here for a while (with the potential of more showing up at anytime) we should make the best of it! :-)

We should be snowshoeing, making snow people, creating snow angels, downhill skiing, ski jumping, cross-country skiing, ski-bobbing, snowboarding, Jamaican bobsledding, figure skating, speed skating, snowmobiling, and playing snow rugby!

Weyburn's yearly average snowfall is 105.7 centimetres. Which isn't too bad if you compare us to our northern neighbor Collins Bay, that sees an average 208.5 centimetres of yearly snowfall! :-O

We could see more snow tonight. Make sure to drive safe, clear the snow off your windows, and be happy... cause the snow won't be here forever!

Take a look at our short video below of the snowfall that covered Weyburn and the surrounding communities last night.
