Local author and screenwriter Randy D Schiller spent many years of his life studying North American politics and culture. Now he is getting ready to release his debut political book The Naked Leftist to the public with his upcoming book launch and public reading at the Weyburn Public Library.

"Essentially it started back when I was 16 to 18 years old," told Schiller. "I noticed differences between Liberals, Socialists and Conservatives. And I never understood why Conservatives weren't using the tactics that the Liberals and Socialists were using against them. Over the years, it just became a real thorn in my side. Especially in 2014 when I ran for the Conservative nomination for Souris-Moose Mountain. That's when I actually started to write the book."

Schiller's book discusses how leftism effects North American politics and culture in modern times.

"The Naked Leftist delivers legitimate sentiments and is a politically incorrect philosophical enlightenment for Conservatives," added Schiller. "This self help book is a necessity to cultivate and strengthen a Conservative and Libertarians knowledge."

Schiller's book launch and public reading of The Naked Leftist will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 7 at the Weyburn Public Library.

"I'm a common man and I wanted to have it for common people," stated Schiller. "Anywhere between eight and 80 will enjoy the book."
