Tonight is the last chance to see a local church's first ever community theatre production. Grace United Church presents 'Annie' - the Christmas classic that finds one lucky orphan an unexpected and unorthodox family.

Colleen Weimer is one of the directors.

"Quite a few years ago we did 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat' and that was just basically people from our church so this was a little step into community theatre," said Weimer.

She said they have people of all ages in the cast as well as people from outside the church playing parts.

"We started out with our group of kids, our girls from United Church - our Spirit of Grace group, and we've kind of expanded from there," shared Weimer.

The show starts at 7 p.m. at Grace United Church. Tonight's performance is the last of a three-night production, which took place December 7, 8 and 9.
