The South East Midget AA Aaron Well Servicing Gold Wings dominated the Notre Dame Hounds Sunday, skating to a 7-0 win. The Gold Wings had goals from seven different skaters in the victory, their seventh in a row.

The Gold Wings opened the game with five goals in the first period, and never looked back.

It started with Kaycee Mullinger scoring an unassisted goal just 1:14 into the game. Karleigh MacKenzie then added another goal at the 2:59 mark, with Marci Leblanc assisting on the tally.

The lead was stretched to 3-0 with 7:10 left on the clock when Taylor Rooney was able to get the puck past Notre Dame netminder Myah Battersby. Her goal was assisted by Jenna Currie.

Rooney and Currie then picked up another point each, as Alyssa Ohrt scored with 4:19 remaining in the opening frame. Just over three minutes later, the Wings rounded out the scoring in the first period as Marci Leblanc scored a goal of her own, assisted by Kiera Pittman.

In the second period, the Wings added another goal, making it 6-0, as Bailey Farr scored. Khloe Bedore and Brynn Kuntz assisted on the marker.

Jordan Meyers rounded out the scoring in the third period as she scored at the 6:16 mark. She was assisted by Haley Labbie.

Kara Zelyck was perfect in goal, stopping all 36 of the shots she faced in the game.

With the win, the Gold Wings added to their lead in the standings. They are currently in first place of the SaskFHL South Division, with a record of 12-1, three points up on the Regina Rebels. They are also tied with the Saskatoon Comet Legends for 1st overall in the league.

The next action for the Midget AA Gold Wings will be on the weekend. They host the Regina Rebels for a pair of games in Midale.
