The Winnipeg Blue Bombers maintained first place with their 35-10 home win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Banjo Bowl on Saturday.

Janarion Grant took a punt 72 yards for a touchdown for Winnipeg, and Bombers quarterback Chris Streveler had a pair of rushing touchdowns.

Saskatchewan could have joined Winnipeg with eight wins apiece if they beat the Bombers for the second week in a row. Instead, Winnipeg has a four-point edge on Saskatchewan and Calgary after the Stampeders beat the host Edmonton Eskimos 33-17 to match the Riders at 7-and-4. The Bombers are 9-and-3.

Elsewhere in the CFL, it was another disappointing outing for the Redblacks as they dropped a 46-17 decision against the Toronto Argonauts in Ottawa. That's their fourth straight loss and eighth in their last nine.
