Southeast Saskatchewan woke up to a thick blanket of fog this morning, making highway travel difficult.

The fog dissipated throughout the morning and will be cleared up by this afternoon and replaced by sunny skies.

Today may be the only rain-free day for a while, with rain in the forecast until Friday.

The abundance of rain has become a hindrance to harvest operations with the latest Crop Report showing only 16 percent of crops in the bin in the southeast. Typically by this time, the harvest would be between 25 and 50 percent complete.
