It was a rough Saturday for the Bantam AA Whitecap Resource Wings. After handing the Swift Current Broncos a 6-2 defeat on Tuesday here in Weyburn, the Broncos repaid the favour on the weekend, beating the Wings 6-2 in Swift Current.

The Wings came out firing and opened the scoring in the game with 8:53 remaining in the first period. Van Eger found the twine behind Swift Current goaltender Colby Watson. Ty Boren had the assist on the goal.

From there, the Broncos took over, scoring six goals over the next three periods.
