The Treasures of Home Craft Sale and Trade Show has been held in Weyburn every year for the last 13 years, providing a potential one-stop Christmas shopping event for those who live in the city, while fundraising for non-profit community organizations.

The show and sale is set for today (Saturday, Nov. 15) this year, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over 50 vendors will be showcasing their goods in the Upper Grace Hall at Grace United Church and in the Legion, where lunch will also be available.  The price of admission is $2 and all of those funds will be split between the Entrepreneurship 30 class at the Weyburn Comprehensive School and the Sun Country Kids Club, who are helping at the event. Organizer, Lisa Vick, said those who attend should bring lots of money and expect to have lots of fun.

"We have home made things including wood crafts, scarves, sweaters, knick-knacks, winter Christmas crafts and that type of thing. We've got health and wellness products, jewellery, clothing, accessories, things for your house and home, decor, candles and just so much more. There is something for everybody," said Vick. She added that some of the vendors are home-based businesses which some shoppers enjoy because they don't have time to host or visit a party, but would still like to purchase the product.
