Support is pouring in after the fatal accident involving the Humboldt Broncos team bus occurred Friday night.

Go Fund Me page was set up last night by a woman who said her son played for the Broncos this past season.

"As you know The Humboldt Broncos Junior A team was involved in a serious accident. Please help us raise money for the players and families affected. Money raised will go directly to families to help with any expenses incurred," organizer Sylvie Kellington stated on the page.

The online fundraiser has already exceeded its $100,000 goal in the past 12 hours.

Condolences have poured in from across North America since the tragedy, including several NHL teams, players, broadcasters and politicians such as Premier Scott Moe, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and US President Donald Trump. Olympic medalist Hailey Wickenheiser promoted the Go Fund Me page on her Twitter account at around 9 a.m. today. The amount collected has since jumped up to over $550,000 at 11 a.m. with a set goal of $800,000.
