Something for the kids to do this Summer!

Meet Brogan & Loissa, your Summer Programmers at Signal Hill Arts Centre this year!

Is your kid looking for something to do this summer? Check out the Summer Art from the HeART programs up at Signal Hill Arts Centre!

The theme this year is Dr. Seuss. Each week they'll be featuring a different Dr. Seuss book like The Lorax and Horton Hears a Who. They'll also be doing a lot of different activities, examples of which include working with clay, mixed media, as well as guest speakers, science experiments, games, and outings. They'll be doing tons of projects that would probably be considered a bit too messy to do at home. The best part? No clean up for you!

Another awesome part about summer programs at Signal Hill is that they work around your summer schedule. For all age ranges, there are a variety of registration options! For Preschool and Youth, you can sign up for the whole 8-week session, 4-week sessions, or for individual weeks. For Teens, there's the full 6 weeks, 3-week sessions, or individual weeks. There may even be drop-in spots available if the classes aren't full.

The Preschool program, for 3-5-year-olds, runs Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10am-11am starting June 25th.

The Youth program, for 6-12-year-olds, runs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:30 to 4:30 starting July 3rd.

Just for Teens, for 10 and up, runs Tuesdays & Thursdays from 1:30-4:30 starting July 9th.
