The 13U AAA Element Beavers were up against the Regina Buffaloes Tuesday night in Jubilee Park.
The Beavers would come out swinging, winning the game 10-0 via the mercy rule. The scoreline wouldn’t be the biggest story of the night, though.
Owen Klein had the start on the mound. He would go the distance, picking up a no-hitter. He was just a walk away from having a perfect game.
Klein is now the second pitcher from Weyburn to throw a no-hitter in the past week after Christian Vick pulled it off with the Weyburn Beavers of the WCBL on Friday.
