A stolen truck has yet to be located according to Weyburn police. It was stolen from within the city on Wednesday night.

The stolen truck is described as a 2006 grey Dodge 3500 Mega Cab with a slip tank in the back and Saskatchewan license plate 774 KLW.

Police are also investigating a smashed vehicle window in the 700 block of Rick Smith Crescent that same night. The two incidents are not related.

July 16th

- The Weyburn PS received a complaint regarding threats being uttered towards an individual. As a result of the investigation, an adult male was arrested without incident. Due to the male already being before the Court on other matters he was remanded in custody.

July 17th

- The Weyburn PS responded to a report of a 2-vehicle collision between a semi unit and car on Hwy # 39 near 3rd Street. As a result of the investigation, the driver of the car was charged with Changing Lanes Before Safe. There were no injuries.

July 18th

- The Weyburn PS received a call regarding a domestic family related assault that had occurred. As a result, a male was arrested without incident and is now facing a charge of Assault.

July 19th

- The Weyburn PS received a call of a person having been unlawfully in a dwelling. The matter is still under investigation.

- The Weyburn PS received a report of a stolen truck. The vehicle was stolen sometime during the night. The vehicle description is; 2006 Grey Dodge 3500 Mega Cab with a slip tank in the back - Sask. License 774 KLW

- The Weyburn PS received a complaint regarding damage having been done to a vehicle window while the vehicle was parked in the 700 Block of Rick Smith Crescent.

- The Weyburn PS received a complaint regarding an assault involving 2 male teens. 1 teen received minor injuries requiring medical attention. The matter is still under investigation and charges are pending.

- The Weyburn PS received a complaint regarding the theft of property from a business. The suspect was identified and the matter was mediated to the satisfaction of the business.

July 20th

- The Weyburn PS received a complaint regarding the number of animals (cats and dogs) that was present on a property. We wish to remind residents of the provisions of the City Bylaw with respect to animal ownership. A complete copy of the Bylaws can be found on the City of Weyburn website weyburn.ca

- The Weyburn PS received a report requesting a well-being check be conducted on an individual. As a result of the check, the individual agreed to attend the hospital to see a Doctor.

July 22nd

- The Weyburn PS received a report of the theft of property from a vehicle parked in the 10 Block of 12th Street. The matter is still under investigation. Once again we urge residents to always lock your vehicle and remove any valuables that may be in plain view.
