A Weyburn teen is giving the gift of life after her death. Kailynn Bursic-Panchuk, who passed away Wednesday after a train collision last week, is donating her organs to save lives after her passing.

According to social media posts by her family, the 17-year-old is donating her heart, lungs, liver and kidneys, which have already been matched to recipients. Her kidneys are a one in a million match for a lucky recipient, according to information provided by Kailynn's family.

In the wake of Kailynn's passing, counseling will again be available at the Weyburn Comprehensive School today. Students who need support can stop by the school until 4 p.m.
