With the school season just around the corner, Weyburn could see more students looking to rent. Weyburn's rental market has changed vastly over the past few years but has recently stabilized.

"What we've seen in the past, there was lots of vacancies," says Winston Bailey, Broker/Owner of Weyburn Remax. "We had a vacancy rate of about 20% in Weyburn in the last couple years but that has swung around again it would be a lot less than that."

Weyburn's rental market fluctuates depending on many factors such as supply and demand.

"When we had the city full of people working in the oil field there three or four years ago then obviously the rents went considerably higher but that has mellowed off and we're seeing a consistent rental rate right now," says Bailey.

Weyburn has seen the rental market grow as buildings and units are filling up. Adjusting rental prices have helped contribute to a strong Weyburn rental market.
