Just in time for that last minute Valentine's Day gift for someone special, the Weyburn Market will be holding a special event tomorrow, Saturday, February 12th.

The market is currently in its off-season, but organizer Corinne Evans said thanks to popular demand, it is back tomorrow at City Centre Mall from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for this one day.

"We ran markets all the way up till Christmas, and then we had a kind of a little break and I thought, okay, well I don't think we're going to go back until April. That's when they usually go back. But I had a few vendors reach out and asked to do a Valentine's Day one."

She said some of the vendors are mainstays, while there are some newcomers as well.

"I've got a few bakers, lots crocheters, there is artwork, there is tumblers, there's a new jean girl coming in this weekend."

She said they have vendors coming from surrounding towns as well.

"If anybody is interested in having a vendor spot, by all means reach out to me. I'm always open to different ideas. If people are looking for a certain type of vendor to come in, I will try my hardest to get them."

Evans, who has been in charge of organizing the Weyburn Market since last summer, said along with the name change from Weyburn Open Air Market, they have created a new social media presence. Find them HERE.
