Yesterday in Weyburn there was an attempt at breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest human foosball game!

Did they actually break the World Record??? Continue reading to find out...

Before the record attempt was made there was an assembly which saw hundreds of students as well as teachers, volunteers, Police and media in attendance at the Comprehensive School's soccer field.

Raquel Oberkirsch (substitute teacher at the Comp) read her award-winning slam poem she wrote as a youth, about her mother’s struggle with Bi-Polar Disorder.

While she read her very personal poem to hundreds of onlookers her mother held the microphone for her and provided hugs and moral support.

Her mother Twyla Bellefleur also shared some words about her struggle with her mental health and gave the students some excellent advice.
