High winds and snowfall have helped create adverse driving conditions all over the province, but especially so in the southeast. Drifting, swirling and blowing snow making for reduced visibility and even no visibility on some roads in the area.

As of 3:45 p.m., travel is not recommended on Highway 39 between Regina and Francis, Highway 1 between Moose Jaw and Regina, as well as Highway 306 from Riceton to the Highway 6 junction. Travel also not recommended from Yellow Grass to Corinne on Highway 39 and on Highway 6 from Regina to basically the Highway 13 junction.

Highways 35, 39 and 13 are all reporting severe winter driving conditions and extra precaution should be taken on those roads. There is also a blowing snow advisory from Environment Canada in the Weyburn and surrounding area.
