Following her second performance on reality television series 'The Bachelor', Weyburn gal gone Nashville Tenille Arts is seeing a lot of recognition. Her song "I Hate This" jumped up to number one on the country iTunes charts in Canada and the USA the day after the episode broadcast last Monday.

"It's definitely been, like, a lot of attention around the episode and the song. I've had quite a few thousand new followers on Instagram, and Facebook, and Twitter and stuff," shared Arts. "It's been definitely a new level. I don't think I expected it to go quite that well."

The country singer knows from experience what a television spot can do for her career. After last year's performance on 'The Bachelor', Arts ended up with a record deal.

"Last year when I performed I was an independent artist and I actually ended up signing my record deal because of the show and the viewing party that I had last year. I don't know, this year it just felt like it was on such a bigger scale, even the filming. I went out to LA in September and there was a big audience there for the taping and they had the Bachelor and his date walk in and it was just kind of, you know, everything was up a few levels."

Arts said 2019 will include more shows, including a performance at New York Fashion Week, and, of course, new music.

Legit can't get this song out of our heads. Pretend you're reliving Colton & Elyse's date with the full performance of "I Hate This" from Tenille Arts!
