With another blast of cold prairie air engulfing the province this week, people are once again forced to bundle up when going outside. As hard as it is on humans, vehicles can also be in rough shape thanks to the cold.

Luckily, there are a few businesses in town that can help, and they're one of the few who is happy to see this cold weather.

"The last couple weeks have been good for the towing business. Unfortunately, its decided to turn cold and it maybe caught a few people off guard with their vehicles with stuff that doesn't show up when it's warm out," said Ryan Williams with Top Notch Towing. "If anyone is having problems, don't hesitate to give us a call. The biggest thing is to stay safe out there."

Williams and others have been working long hours lately to ensure everyone is helped out in these dangerous conditions.

They can help with loads of different things, including cars that are stuck or need a boost. They can also help vehicles that have flat tires or a driver that have locked their keys inside.

"First and foremost it's about looking after people and making sure they're safe and on their way," Williams explained. "The last few winters have been mild, and unfortunately, maybe a lack of some maintenance on vehicles — and cold weather brings out those problems in a hurry."

While the cold weather may be good for their bottom line, Williams says at the end of the day he's just like everyone else.

"Business-wise, the cold and snow is very good. Personally, I'm like everyone else, I didn't miss this cold weather one bit," he said with a laugh.

It looks like it's going to be another busy week for Williams and his company with highs expected to be in the mid -20s for a handful of days. More snow is also expected this week in Weyburn.
