The snow that fell on the southeast overnight has meant some less than ideal driving conditions in many parts of the region this morning. While we can expect things to improve, there is also more snow expected by the end of the day today, with the forecast calling for up to 10 centimetres more in some areas.

Travel is not recommended at this time on the following highways:

- Highway 39 from Corinne to Moose Jaw

- Highway 35 from just north of Cedoux to Highway 1

- Highway 48 from Kennedy to Glenavon

- Highway 47 from Handsworth Road to Highway 1

- Highway 33 from Stoughton to Sedley

- Highway 1 from Regina to Belle Plaine

- Highway 1 from Wolseley to to the Manitoba border

Nearly all other highways in the area are reporting winter driving conditions exist. These conditions include loose, swirling and drifting snow, snowdrifts and reduced visibility.
