The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings were to be playing a pair of games this weekend but will have a weekend with no game action as both of their scheduled games have been postponed.

It was quietly announced by the SJHL that the Yorkton Terriers, who the Red Wings were scheduled to play Friday night, and the Notre Dame Hounds, the opponent for the Wings on Saturday, have entered a pause due to COVID-19 protocols. This has resulted in both games being postponed.

No date has been announced for either game, but it has been confirmed the game scheduled for Saturday, which was originally to be played in Radville, will now be played in Wilcox when a date has been confirmed.

This is the fifth and sixth game Red Wings game postponed this season due to COVID-19.

The games originally scheduled for December 30th and January 1st between the Red Wings and Estevan Bruins have been rescheduled. The game set for December 30th in Estevan will now be played on January 26th. The game scheduled for January 1st will now be played at Crescent Point Place on February 18th.
