A free print-making class is being held tonight from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Weyburn Credit Union Spark Centre.

"This is going to be a pressure printmaking, so we're going to be using foam sheets and using dull pencils to draw our designs on the foam sheets and then using a brayer, or rolling pin, to roll the ink on and then make the prints," explained Arts Coordinator with the Weyburn Arts Council, Regan Lanning. "Everyone will get a piece of paper and a piece of the foam and they can do their own design and then imprint that onto the foam, and then make their own custom print."

She said each person can make one template from which they can make as many prints as they want.

Children are welcome, but anyone under 10 must have an adult there to help facilitate print-making.

It'll be time to paint some 'Kindness rocks' on Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Weyburn Public Library.

"We love to see the kindness rocks go out," said WAC president Natasha Hill. "We love to see people creating them, what everybody's vision is and it's just a really fun event."

Lanning added there will be guides, templates, and ideas people can pull from, "but you are in no way limited to only creating from that imagery."
