The Weyburn Police Service was called out to two accidents on the weekend.

The first collision was between two vehicles on Friday at the intersection of 2nd Street and Bison Avenue. The investigation determined one vehicle had failed to stop at the stop sign. As a result, a 38-year-old man was charged with failing to stop at a stop sign.

The second accident happened Saturday at the intersection of 1st Street and Coteau Avenue. The collision occurred when one vehicle backed up into another. As a result of the investigation, a 59-year-old man was ticketed for unsafely backing up.
