The Weyburn Humane Society is facing another shortcoming as a second pipe has burst and flooded the building once again.

Yesterday around six-thirty in the evening the manager for the Humane Society Colleen Morrice arrived to find water all over the floor.

"I am just so thankful it happened now before the new drywall went in, I would be devastated otherwise"

This is just another punch to the gut for the Humane Society which is still trying to rebuild from its last flood around 20 days ago, but at least this time it won't cost them anything besides their time and effort to clean this up. You could say they're getting used to it.

With this second pipe breaking in under a month it really goes to show how badly they need a new building. Donations can be sent to Colleen via E-transfer or dropped off at the Humane Society.
