The Western Hockey League held their draft Thursday, and two players from the U15 AA Annugas Wings were selected.

In the 5th round, the Everett Silvertips chose defenseman Wade Franks. Franks played in 28 games last season, and notched 23 points, including eight goals, over the course of the season. He closed out the year with 14 penalty minutes. The blueliner totalled 37 points over two seasons of U15 hockey.

The second member of the Wings to be selected was Aidan Mohan. The leading scorer for the Wings this past season, the Prince Albert Raiders chose him in the 6th round. Mohan finished this past season with 26 goals and 33 assists in 29 games. He also added in 58 penalty minutes. In his two years of U15 hockey, he finished with 89 points in 60 games.  

Both players are expected to be playing U18 AAA hockey next season. Mohan is set to skate with the Estevan Bears, while Franks spent part of the past season skating with the Moose Jaw Warriors U18 squad.
