The Weyburn Red Wings are looking to paint the town red ahead of tonight's playoff game.

"We've got two big games that we're excited for," said Nick Nielsen, Office and Marketing Manager for the Weyburn Red Wings. "Lots of stuff going on. We're actually starting right now with our 'Paint the Town Red' campaign going on. We've got a bunch of posters here at the Red Wings Office. If you guys want to have anything to hang in your businesses, in the windows, stuff like that, to show your support for the team just swing by the office and you can pick up one or two or as many as you like and have them out."

Nielsen also noted that, while they are campaigning ahead of the game in hopes of getting more people out to Crescent Point Place, they will also have a lot on the go during tonight's game.

"We've already got ourselves a guaranteed 50/50 at $3,000 thanks to our friends at  Authority Oilfield Services. We've got a couple of game day sponsors, we'll have some fun things going on during the game as well."

He added that the game itself will also be an exciting one.

"It's (the North Stars) the second-best team in the country here right now and the Red Wings have a one-one split with them coming onto home ice."

He noted that there will also be rally towels available tonight and encouraged people to arrive early to take in all the fun ahead of the game.

Game three goes on tonight at 7:00 at Crescent Point Place. Anyone who can't make it out to the game can listen along on Great Plains Ford Red Wing Radio Big 106 starting with the pregame show at 6:45.
