Roughly thirty Weyburn residents were at the Weyburn Comp today to partake in the annual Saskatchewan Blue Cross MS Walk.

The event aims to raise funds for research and support for those living and affected by Multiple Sclerosis. The walk takes place in 125 communities across Canada and raises millions of dollars every year.

This year was a bit tougher for the MS Society, as a number of other events were planned this weekend as well. Despite that, by the end of the walk they were halfway to their fundraising goal of $15,000.

There are still two weeks to get your donations in, which can be done online at mswalks.ca or by finding a participant. You can also follow along on social media as they have introduced three hashtags: #mswalks #endms and #fightwithyourfeet.
