This Remembrance Day marks an extra special anniversary. It's 100 years since the end of World War 1 and bells of peace will ring throughout the land to mark the occasion.

The annual Remembrance Day ceremonies will begin at 10:45 this morning with a parade along Third Street to the cenotaph in Memorial Park. The war mother will lay the first wreath, followed by dignitaries, organizations, businesses and individuals. A service will take place afterwards in the upper hall of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 47.

The bells of peace will begin chiming at 5:18 p.m. Read more about the bells HERE.
