Your Summer Fun Crew will be doing a series of blogs on all of the awesome things you can check out this summer in Weyburn and surrounding area! Today, we went out to Mainprize Regional Park. This is a beautiful resort area that is just a short drive away from Weyburn!
You can take in all kinds of great summer activities at Mainprize. Bring your boat and spend the afternoon on the water, or have a nice, relaxing afternoon on the beach. If you want to spend the night, you can stay at the Harbour View Bed and Breakfast, or rent one of the Bentwood Kabins. Everyone will enjoy the treats at the snack shop, but the kids will especially enjoy the big playground. Don't forget to stop by the beautiful Mainprize Golf Course as well!
Mainprize has lots of great events coming up this summer, too! The first is Family Fun Day on July 20th. There will be a BBQ and a petting zoo set up by Tailing Farms from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Other fun activities include face painting and balloons, bouncy castles, dunk tanks, and more!
G-Force Adventure is on July 22nd to 26th from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. This event is recommended for ages 5 to 13.
Even more events coming up in the park include a Family Moving Night on July 26th, Halloween in the Park on August 2nd, a Paint Night on August 13th, and many other awesome things to check out in Mainprize.
