The annual Trails Day fundraiser took place this past Sunday at River Park in Weyburn. The day was a huge success, despite the dark clouds and possibility of poor weather.

The event started off at 1pm with the Duck Derby, which saw 623 purchased ducks slowly move their way towards the finish line. The Duck Derby alone raised $965 for this year's local Communithon fundraiser. (Full Duck Derby Story & VIDEO here)

Also at Trails Day there was a massive scavenger hunt with awesome prizes (see VIDEO below to find out who won the Grand Prize!), as well as local vendors, bouncy houses, concession with hot dogs and so much more!!

The entertainment for the day kicked off with a set of Houdini escapes performed by The Amazing Magician Richy Roy (see first VIDEO & Bonus Video below).

After Roy the crowd was treated to a lovely performance of mostly original songs by local girl Lyndsay Bell.

Then the event exploded into overdrive with a killer set by Small City Blues! The band consists of: Adam Hoffart (lead singer from Weyburn), Austin Kot (electric guitarist from Weyburn), Dalton Lemon (electric guitarist from Ogema), Luke Brunskill (drummer from Regina), and Evan Mass (bass guitarist from Weyburn).
