Weyburn Public Library

Child and Youth Services and the Weyburn branch of the CMHA have partnered with the Weyburn Public Library to offer a program to help children prevent anxiety and depression.

The 'Friends For Life Program' is designed to teach children between the ages of 11 and 14 coping skills and helps build life-long emotional resiliance. Over the eight-week program children will be taught tools to manage their feelings and to enhance social skills.

The program is free and will be held at the Weyburn Public Library. It will take place every Wednesday, beginning February 19. The program will start at 3:45 and run until 5 p.m. There will be healthy snacks offered to children as they arrive.

Space is limited so to have your child registered, contact the library at 306-842-4352. Programming begins on February 19.
