Yesterday students lined the streets for the Red Cross Day of Pink, an anti-bullying movement that started in 2007.

It was Travis Price and David Shepherd who started the movement, after the noticed another student being bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school. Price and Shepherd created an event on Facebook and spread the word that this was not alright and the Pink Shirt movement was born.

Since 2007, the Day of Pink has spread internationally, most recently being picked up in Ireland and Japan. Price now travels to school around the world to share the message of respect and acceptance and a world with no bullying.

Price visited St. Michael's School Thursday morning and spoke with the students and media there.
