The 2019 Communithon fundraiser is fast approaching! Which means it is crunch time to find as many talented individuals as possible for this amazing fundraiser that helps out a number of community agencies, that are very deserving of the community's support.

And this Sunday you can get a taste of what the 38th annual Communithon will be like this year at the first ever Communithon Audition Concert!

"We thought we'd do a bit of a preview concert for the public," explained Colleen Weimer, Entertainment Committee Member for Communithon. "It's going to be a lot of fun and we're really looking forward to seeing some great talent."

If you are interested in auditioning on Sunday you can still sign up online on the official Communithon website. All ages and types of acts are encouraged to submit applications.

The audition concert will be held at the Tommy Douglas Performing Arts Centre (400 10 Ave SE) on Sunday, September 15 and is open to the public. Starts at 2pm.

There is no charge for the concert, but donations for Communithon would be greatly appreciated.

At this event the community can get to meet the five new Communithon Ambassadors.

"So we used to have our Communithon Super Heroes and now we have five teen Ambassadors for the community to get to know," added Weimer.

And after the Communithon Audition Concert is over you can look forward to the 2019 Communithon! Which will be held this year at the Weyburn Royal Canadian Legion on October 25th. Mark it on your calendars, this year is going to be BIG!!
