It is sunny in Weyburn so far this morning, but scattered rains could roll over southeast Saskatchewan today, and later this week.

Environment Canada Meteorologist Danielle Fingland said the showers that we could see today are from a system that is travelling south into the United States.

“We should see a clearing trend after today, but then the next chance of showers is Thursday afternoon into the evening,” said Fingland. “That’s going to be thunderstorm activity.”

Heading into the weekend, it is expected to be cloudy all day on Friday, and sunny during the day on Saturday and Sunday. There is a good chance of showers on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

“The next big chance of precipitation is Saturday evening into Sunday.”

Temperatures are expected to be a bit over the seasonal average. Today's high is 23°C, 24°C on Thursday, 25°C on Friday, and on Saturday and Sunday the highs are 28°C.
