The Sooline Cruisers are gearing up for their 21st annual Show and Shine event, set to take place over Father’s Day weekend. The cherished local tradition is now attracting attention beyond community borders, club member Jarrod Stroeder gives the details.

“We've had cars from Manitoba, from Alberta, from Northern Saskatchewan, cars from North Dakota and Montana come up to our car show. So, it's really, really growing. It's becoming one of the largest car shows in Southeastern Saskatchewan it's awesome, it's amazing to see.”

The celebrated event will also support two local non-profit organizations. While the event is free to attend spectators are encouraged to bring a donation, “We are collecting nonperishable food items for the Salvation Army, so help us fill the box of a truck,” said President, Trevor Sealy.

The show will kick off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, and run until 4 p.m. However, vehicle registration will begin at 10 a.m. downstairs in the Vimy Room at the Weyburn Legion. Proceeds from registration fees will be donated to the Weyburn Human Society.
