This past Thursday legendary magician Chris Funk (The Wonderist) shocked and entertained a packed house at The Cugnet Centre in Weyburn! (Photo Gallery below)

The Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils (OSAC) along with the Weyburn Concert Series were responsible for bringing this stellar act to Weyburn.

Funk grew up in Winnipeg and has spent the past 15 plus years traveling the world while performing his engaging magic shows that feature live-feed cameras and live music played by himself on stage!

He has been featured on America’s Got Talent, Hell’s Kitchen, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Masters of Illusion, Wizard Wars, and countless other television specials.

At the show in Weyburn the audience was treated to a dynamic and mind blowing experience that left them amazed and wanting more of the Funk!

The live-feed cameras and interactive videos brought everyone in attendance much closer to the action, which made the event much more entertaining.

Funk brought several members of the crowd up on stage to assist him during the show and he also did everything he could to make the tricks as difficult to predict or duplicate as possible.

Near the end of the show Funk revealed that he knew exactly what serial numbers would be on a random twenty dollar bill, what location a random audience member would choose, a completely random number based off of several contributions from the crowd, and many other completely random words, drawings, and numbers by showing them all on a long piece of paper that was rolled up, sealed and held the entire show by one of the people in the audience!!

All in all, Chris Funk was fresh, unique, exciting, and definitely a show that won't be forgotten any time soon.
