Two Yellow Grass teens were finalists in a Canada wide toy making competition.

Keena Tessier and Kennedy Strickland created the Heal Me Baby doll, a doll designed for children that want to be a doctor.

"It was a typical doll, it had it's temperature swings, there was spot for these hot and cold packs to be put inside so that the child doctor could take the temperature. There was supposed to be some scars or bruises that the child playing with the toy would have to treat and heal," said Michael Graham, principle of the Yellow Grass school. "It was basically a contest open to all kids age six to twenty-one, they design a toy, make up a business plan for price point and sales, and Spin Master Toy Company would select some finalists and they would bring those finalists down to the Canada-wide science fair in Montreal."

In the end Tessier and Strickland placed second in the competition, and are welcome to improve their design if they wish to enter the competition again.
