A strong show for Sharon Styles at the Multisport Championships in Penticton, B.C. She was competing in the long course triathlon Sunday. She won the bronze medal for her age group in the grueling endurance competition.

Styles finished up the three-kilometer swim portion of the event in 16:58, and was in second place in her group (women 40-44) and fifth out of all 334 women competing in the event. The next section was the 120-kilometer bike ride. She covered the distance in 3:33:16, slipping slightly, as she was now in fifth in her group, and eleventh overall.

The run was where she made up the ground. She covered the 30 kilometers in 2:19:36, for a total time of 6:43:32. This placed her third in her group, and she finished fifth overall in the race.
