Wheat prices are breaking through price ceilings that haven't been seen in over three decades.

Sandy McCormick, the Manager of Marketing and Transportation for the Weyburn Inland Terminal says weather impacts around the world is a key reason for the price increase.

The impacts include crop failures and drought, making Western Canadian Farmer's grain even more valuable.

The current price for Hard Red Spring Wheat with thirteen percent protein is six dollars a bushel.
