Great weather conditions last week helped farmers get back on track in what has been a slow harvest season so far.

Grant MacLean, Cropping Management Specialist for the Ministry of Agriculture, says delays caused by rain and cool temperatures frustrated farmers across the province.

He warns those frustrations may lead farmers to cut corners in a bid to get the crop in as quickly as possible.

MacLean says you can save a few minutes here and there but if it cost's someone an injury or even worse, it's not worth the risk.

MacLean urges that farmers should never bring their frustrations to the field, and asks them to always be safe and take the time to do everything properly.
