Jack Burgart recorded 45 saves, while Jacob Jeske and Braden Mellon scored late in the third as the Weyburn Red Wings beat the Flin Flon Bombers in Flin Flon Friday night. This was the second win of the season for the Red Wings over Flin Flon, who will be in town on Hallowe'en.

The win moves the Red Wings to a record of 10-3-1 at the quarter mark of the SJHL season, and a solid lead in the Viterra Division. The Red Wings are also third overall in the SJHL.

The road trip through the northern teams of the Sherwood Division continues Saturday night when the Red Wings visit Melfort. Weyburn will be looking to avenge a 3-1 loss to Melfort last Saturday at home. The next home game for the Red Wings will be October 30th, when the Battleford Stars are in town.
