The agenda for tonight's regular meeting of Weyburn City Council includes reports from the Weyburn Fire Department, the Water Treatment Plant, the finance office, and Public Works.

A zoning bylaw amendment is being heard, for the former location of Souris School. The applicant plans to build a multi-level senior residential care complex on the property, which is permitted use in the R3 zone.

Council will also review tenders for IT services, as the City of Weyburn's Managed Information Technology (IT) Service account has been held by WBM Technologies Inc. since November of 2014. The 2023 average monthly cost is $11,584.87. Prior to that, IT services were provided in-house by a City of Weyburn employee. In 2023, City Council identified the review of the managed IT services as a Strategic Priority.

Council will also have a look at new proposed guidelines on what is required when a City Councilor needs to take a leave of absence.

We'll have the details from tonight's meeting for you tomorrow morning, on air and online. You can find the full agenda HERE.
