A new face will be joining the Medical Health Office for Sun Country Health Region.
Dr. Ross Findlater will join the Region as Medical Health Officer as Dr. Shauna Hudson eases into retirement.
Dr. Hudson has been with the Health Region for over a decade and, as Janice Giroux, Vice President Community Health for Sun Country Health Region, explains, she won't be going far.
"Dr. Hudson will be on a call rotation with Medical Health Officers in Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region and Sun Country Health Region," said Giroux. "And hopefully we will have her working with us for a little bit more time."
Dr. Findlater has made his career in Saskatchewan as a Deputy Medical Health Officer, Program Director for the Community Medicine Residency Training Program at the University of Saskatchewan, as well as Medical Health Officer for other regions.
"The Region is also excited to have Dr. Findlater join the Public Health team," said Giroux. "The expertise and experience he brings will be a benefit to our partners in the Region and the community."
Dr. Findlater has already begun work with the Region.
