The Young Fellows Tree Lot has been re-stocked for this Holiday season! The truck showed up this morning packed to the rim with fresh Christmas trees just waiting to go home with you and give your house that Hallmark Christmas movie feeling!
"The prices are roughly 13 dollars a foot for the Balsam Firs and roughly 15 dollars a foot for the Fraser Fir and we've got about 435 trees here." Len Hutchings Chair of the YF Tree Lot, located by their clubhouse, in the parking lot just north of the Prairie Sky Coop food store, between Coteau Avenue and Bison Avenue at Second Street.
Some may think live Christmas trees are far too big to fit in their living room but luckily, they do get a selection.
"Height wise we've got only a couple tall trees 10 to 12, and then we've got 5 to 6 foot 6 to 7 and 7-to-8-foot trees."
Inflation has slithered its way into our Christmas cheer this year tough as the price of a tree has gone up
"Prices are up about 30% from last year but everyone's going through the same thing so that's how it is."
Tree lot hours are Monday to Friday 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Sunday 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. Get your Christmas cheer on and avoid that grinch this Holiday season!
