The Ignite a Little Sparkle campaign is once again underway, thanks to the committed sponsorship from local businesses supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Weyburn. Area residents are encouraged to participate in this meaningful cause.

Amy Mohr, Director of Development and Communications shares her sincere gratitude for the local support, “We're really excited, our Ignite a Little Sparkle holiday giving campaign kicks off on Tuesday, November 28th, which is giving Tuesday across the country. And yeah, we're just really grateful for five different local sponsors to come on board for five weeks to match donations from the public for each of the five weeks, there's a different sponsor.”

A noteworthy inclusion in this year's campaign is the participation of Welsh Kitchen, which is crafting cookies for the event. Twenty-five percent of the proceeds from these cookies will be directed towards supporting BBBS of Weyburn.

Matching sponsors for the event include Root Bound Plant Shop, Prairie Sky Co-op, Great Plains Ford, MNP Weyburn, and the Weyburn Credit Union.

Commencing on International Giving Day, Tuesday, November 28, the event invites you to contribute your support by making donations on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Weyburn website. For every dollar donated, one of the local sponsors will match your contribution.
